• Firestarter is released. • The Essex Serpent: Season 1 is released. After hearing stories of the mythical Essex serpent, newly widowed Cora Seaborne (Claire Danes) moves from London to Essex, where she meets the village vicar (Tom Hiddleston) in this adaptation of Sarah Perry's novel of the same name.

Waters (Elijah Wood) and Stone (Nicolas Cage) are two nobody police officers working dull administrative jobs and making extra money selling stolen Civil Service Exams to other officers. When Stone hears a story about a heroin dealer quickly beating his extremely high bail, the two friends set into motion a plan to find the origin of such a large amount of cash. Through diligent police work they follow a trail that leads directly to a custom bank-style vault built into the back room freezer of a small grocery store. They put a plan into motion to rob the vault and split whatever they find inside. But by the time they figure out what the vault contains, it’s already too late to turn back.

• Memento Mori 2 for PC is released. Lara and Max – the dual protagonists from part one – are on their honeymoon in South Africa when Lara receives a phone call from her boss at Interpol. He asks Lara for her assistance in the case of an art theft from a museum in Cape Town. While the police have already put the break-in on file, Lara and Max attempt to pick up the thief’s trail. In the course of a frantic chase, Max and the thief get caught up in a terrible car crash. The thief’s body is salvaged from the bottom of the steep coastal cliff and Max is declared missing, presumed dead.
